A.J. Cann talks about JSW's big touchdown,"'We lost just that one big play,' Cann said. 'When those games roll around we're gonna have that bad taste in our mouth with what happened. We're gonna take it just one game at a time. But when that Georgia game rolls around we're gonna have that view in our head that: Man that one play just ruined it.'"

Basically saying we got lucky, when we whipped their arse pretty good.

I really hope this game is as important to us as it is for them.

The cocks will lose a lot of rushing yards at the QB spot.

Good for him. I think there were 3 plays that cost us, but it stemmed from the first of the 3, b/c that's what changed the direction of the game back.

Georgia got up 17-3, but then the Gamecocks got momentum and tied the game going into half at 24-24. Gamecocks force a punt to open the 2nd half, we move the ball well, and then Shaw has one of his few turnovers on the season with a fumble at the 25 yard line. This play changed the game.

The next 2 plays that were critical fails were the failed 4th and goal conversion and the 80 yard pass to JSW.

It is what it is, hopefully SC's guys will do better the next time.

Aaron frickin' Murray. He was money that game.

And, yeah, the fumble by Shaw. Heckuva play for us whoever did it. May have won us the game. I'm thinking Pollack must've come back for that one or something.

and if we stop davis on that long arse run, its a blow out....this thread is dumb and so is aj cann or whatever his name is. in most games, there are 2-3 plays that decide who wins and who loses, especially in the SEC.

I agree with this.

However, most games have a play or 2 that change the game. You could almost say it about any game....

Man, if he hadn't run the opening kickoff back, we wouldn't have lost 75-3. That got us down quick in an emotional game..::

There is no telling what would have happened afterwards but there was one play that stuck in my head as well.

I think it was after the Shaw fumble and the UGA TD in the 2nd half so momentum was already huge in UGA's favor.

We had a 3rd down and Shaw threw it to a wide open Ellington and all Bruce had to do was reach his arms out and it would've been an easy 1st down and then some. Instead the sun apparently got in his eyes and he didn't even see the ball coming and subsequently just kept his arms down as the ball flew in front of him. We had to punt of course.

Anytime we have to count on Hull to punt, we're dancing with a potential loss.

The game was close, no doubt. However lets not forget that UGA won by 11 and was marching down the field at will as the game closed out. If spurrier had opted to use his timeouts the final could have easily ended up being 48-30 the way Douglas was trucking people.

Bitching and crying about last season's game is pretty dumb.
The task at hand is next season's game.
Nothing in 2013's game will have any bearing on what happens for 2014.

That said...
The Dawgs should not have won the game.
The goalline stand was a fluke.
It wouldn't have been repeated in 5 more tries.
Spurrier outclassed Grantham.

Just because you're a big bad team board admin and have access to all team boards.......doesn't mean you should post here when you weren't invited.......

Most admins have the class and respect not to abuse the privilege.

What a piece of shite you are.

Well boo-frickin'-hoo.

That's what you've got? "[T]he sun apparently got in his eyes"?

Guys, we are dealing with professional Whatcouldbeens here... When you dont win championships, and your best season of all time was when you got 3rd in the SEC East, this is how you make your ballclub seem relevent. USCe has more Moral Victories than any other College program. They ran into some money and moderate success, much in part due to the money they are getting from the confrence we built and let them join. They are new money... and new money acts like new money...

But if Conner* did not fumble and the masons didn't build the stadium so it faced the afternoon sun and if JSW didn't catch that long ball and UGA didn't end the game on an 8 minute drive.... USC woulda won! Y'all are just butthurt!
