I thought this was interesting.

SEC coaches and the bowl game they've taken their current school to the most:

East:
Florida - Will Muschamp - Sugar & Gator (tie)
Georgia - Mark Richt - Sugar & Capital One
Kentucky - Mark Stoops - N/A
Mizzou - Gary Pinkel - Independence
South Carolina - Steve Spurrier - Capital One & Outback (tie)
Tennessee - Butch Jones - N/A
Vanderbilt - Derek Mason - N/A

West:
Alabama - Nick Saban - BCS NCG
Arkansas - Bret Bielema - N/A
Auburn - Gus Malzahn - BCS NCG
LSU - Les Miles - Chick-fil-a
Ole Miss - Hugh Freeze - BBVA Compass & Music City (tie)
Mississippi State - Dan Mullen - Gator
Texas A&M - Kevin Sumlin - Cotton & Chick-fil-a (tie)

given 8 of the 16 coaches in the league have been at their current schools for 3 years or less, i really don't find it all that interesting outside of showing what we already know, Saban's resume is impressive

Individually yes, that does stand out.

The East has had some turnover but this looks bad for them.

So this means since the 2005 Independence Bowl when these two teams met, one program has stayed static and the other has improved their position.
