Does Auburn going 8 - 1 against SEC opponents say more about the lack of

competition in the SEC West then it does about the team as a whole? A dumpster fire of a team coming out of 2012 (3-9/0-8) managaged to to tear through West opponents like tissue paper with a lucky win by LSU. It is safe to say had UGA not been undermanned they would have won handily and Missouri really had no business being in the SECCG to begin with. Personally I feel this says a alot about the overall strength of the West which will carry over to the 2014 season.

Good point, I hadn't considered that. Perhaps I was too focused on the fact that the SEC East has lost 5 in a row that I didn't consider all angles.

At least when we played in the sec championship game this past year it was competitive...can't really say that about the last time we went, so maybe you're onto something.

with a lucky win by LSU

You put 35 on a team and win by 2 TD's and it was luck? Help me out with that. LSU was the better team that night.
Auburn had the better overall team and won the conference with it.
The east was not as strong as the west last year. Nice try tho.
Who in the east wouldve given Bama and FSU a great game back to back?
The team that lost to Tennessee?
Who won the strong east last year? A 2-6 team the year before, right? In only their 2nd year in the conference they win the strong SEC east.

You actually took this thread seriously enough to type all that out? I would hate to see your response if a poster actually came up with a good troll

But in the future I will type less about your "horrible" team.
