Spent the last week in Ernge Beach and met many fans of opposing schools...

Here is my fanbase-while-vacationing ranking of non-LSU SEC teams based on the last 7 days on the Beaches of the Alabama Gulf Coast, in the lazy river at Phoenix West II, the Hangout, Tacky Jacks and in various other locales in and around the greater Gulf Shores/Orange Beach/Perdido Key area...

1.) MSU - State Fans. One nice lady pushed me out of a slow area of the Lazy River. Another had a great conversation with me about Dak and Coarch Merlins. All in all, classy and down to Earth. Considering I wore the colors of the team that's beaten them 14 years straight, gotta give the #1 slot to Grind State.

2.) Tie - Vols and Hogs - Vols love the success Chavis has here and bemoan the fact they no longer have him. At the same time, they are high on Butch Jones. Likewise, Hog Fans were very good natured and ready to talk football and complimentary of their opponents*

*-Bert is fat, though.

4.) AU - All around great fans who like to drink cold beer, get sunburned, and talk football. Met some great "other" Tigers.

5-12.) - Everyone else. Didn't see you. Maybe next year.

Last Place - Tie - Bama and Ole Miss. Because Bama and Ole Miss.
