Have you gotten any chance to see the cubs in person? That's always I've wanted to take pics of: mama bear and cubs

I've only been to Brooks Falls once (expensive plane ride to get there) but we have cubs all over town now. Mainly black bear locally, but brown bear out the road and on the outlying islands.
Near the Mendenhall Glacier, there's a freshwater stream that runs into the glacial lake and during the sockeye run late July through August, there are bears all over the place. Forest Service has a cam, which is a bit cloudy now due to the outwash flood.

They are awesome.
There's an island about 5 miles away called Admiralty Island. Most of it's a national monument and it's fairly large. It has the densest bear population in the world with more than one brown bear per sq. mile. These are the big coastal brown bears that can weigh over 1,000 lbs. It's a fascinating place and there are a few documentaries on the island. There's a place called Pack Creek that's set up with a viewing platform
