At LSU its probably the Hayride Scandal but in recent times it is the Emmert academic fraud scandal.

Jan Kemp...

For those who don't know the story...
quote:

While coordinator of Georgia’s remedial English program, Dr. Kemp was among several faculty members who had complained that officials at Georgia intervened in the fall of 1981 to enable nine football players to pass a remedial English course in which they had received failing grades. The athletes remained eligible to play for Georgia against Pittsburgh in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day 1982.

Dr. Kemp was demoted in 1982 and dismissed the next year. She filed suit, maintaining that she had been ousted because of her complaints, a violation of her constitutional right to free speech.

Just because we had the governor in our back pocket and was dumb enough to trust a Yankee teenager.

But Charlie, Galen, Urban, and Dwayne should give you plenty of opportunities to respond correctly.

The great Fax Machine Scandal of 1997, where a number of people faxed in support of a marginally functional idiot as head football coach and convinced the university to give him a job.

That, or the Saturday Evening Post scandal, or maybe Harrick/Cole.

Tony Cole/Harrick Jr set our basketball program back so far it still hasn't recovered. I swear, and I'm not kidding, if he had stuck around for a while we would have at least a few final fours under JH Sr.

I guess Hotelgate for us. Anything else that may or may not have happened was before my time, besides players getting suspended/arrested.

The head coach at Clemson knows where Dubose hid the bodies.

Why else do you think he has progressed as much as he has in the coaching field?
