I would say he is probably the preseason favorite

Why is that laugh-worthy? He plays safety in one of the premier defenses in the country in a system that certainly gets Ss their INTs (R. Johnson, Barron, Lester, Ha-Ha). He has enough ball skills to take some to the house to get highlight attention. He is used in many blitz packages to get his share of TFLs and sacks. He might be the best tackling DB in the SEC. Not sure why you are automatically dismissive.

i think he is laughing at the QUESTION.

It would be like me asking "is Lebron James any good at basketball?"

I THINK that is the reason for the laugh

Good enough to be a 1st round draft pick next year.

Only three DBS have won SECDPOTY

2011 - Mo Claiborne, LSU
2010 - Patrick Peterson, LSU
2009 - Eric Berry, Tennessee

Well, I'll take "the field" over any individual player named.

But, the question was "is he CAPABLE" of winning. Obvious answer is YES

I'd say he will fall somewhere in between where LSU fans though he would be 5 seconds before he decided to come to Alabama and where they thought he would be 5 seconds after.

I agree for the most part, but you lost me here. He looked like he had butter all over him vs OU. I know he's been solid otherwise, but he stunk up the joint that night.

Antonio Langham didn't win SECDPOTY in 1993?

Will go on to be the first Safety drafted, but I don't know how good he'll actually be on the field. Tough to tell. Probably 2nd Team AA at worst.

So you're not so sure anymore because of one game?

Not saying he isn't a great player, I'd love for him to be at LSU headhunting, but you can't call someone the best tackling DB in the SEC when his very last performance was the exact opposite of that.
