So I think my 7 month old pup ate the skin of a baseball….

Trying to decide if this warrants a trip to the vet. idk if he can pass it or not. Not even sure if he did either. He was chewing on it earlier without ripping it open. Next thing I know, just the core left. No skin in sight.

My dog eats baseball skins all the time. We actually use it as a treat when he does something good, like mow the lawn or something.

Big dog? Probably not much to worry about but still worth a call to the vet. Small dog? Get him to the vet ASAP.

What did the vet say? I would have waited to see if bowels changed before calling. Dogs can digest leather.
