Explain the difference between adapting and evolving

Adapting is what one life form can do by changing the way they think or do things. Evolving is traits whether psychical or mental that allowed a being to adapt or survive being passed on to offspring so that they have the same adaptable traits and abilities.

Adaptation: Short term changes to suit an environment. An individual member or group can adapt
Evolution: Long term genetic level modifications brought about by natural selection. Requires multiple generations
As an environment changes, adaptations can occur to account for it. The more successful members MAY have a genetic advantage and thus pass that gene along....causing evolution

Do you mean the difference between adaptation and speciation?
Adaptation is, for example, a population of a species that is prey to a variety of predators adapting to grow fur that matches their environment for camouflage.
Speciation is when a population undergoes enough changes to their genome due to progressive adaptations over time that they can no longer produce fertile offspring with their original species.
Both are integral parts if evolution, but speciation is on a larger scale.

Meh. They were monkeys. Adam and Eve is a fairy tale. They don't need to get pissed off about it, they just need to accept it. My mother forwarded me an email from the Methodist church in west Plano she goes. It was basically a call from the national level to stop rejecting science because in surveys it was cited as the number one reason young people are leaving the church.

You can prove evolution. Fossil records, DNA, carbon dating, etc.
