Charter does suck but if you're just switching just to get SEC Network you probably made a mistake. No way they don't have it by football season.

I'm stuck with Charter, but I just plan on going to most of the games this season anyway

Jokes on you because Charter will pick up SEC network by the time AU kicks with Arkansas.

Same with me since I have season tix. I have brighthouse and they haven't reached an agreement yet. Not worried. I'm sure the sec network fees are probably ridiculous and I'm not paying extra for it depending on how much the sports package is. There's a reason why only a few have a contract right now.

I was able to get more channels and 200$ in visa gift cards for 93.00 a month so I'm pretty happy. Just hope the wireless internet is as fast as charter was. Also saw on al.com that the SEC will be on u200 tier in all sec school states, and u300 everywhere else.

Glad I have the u300 then living in Texas. They also have 300 mbit internet service that's going to 1 gig soon to compete with Google fiber.

Do you have UVerse internet? If so, how does it compare to Comcast?

I have Comcast now. Love the internet. Cable is o.k.. If Comcast doesn't carry it, I will be forced to switch to UVerse.

I swapped from Charter to Uverse in Bham - and it has never had a service interruption in almost 2 years of service.

Can someone help me on some overdue diligence... Comcast customer here. Assuming they have the channel by the time comes around (maybe they already inked the deal, need to check, know they were close), will it be included in the normal channel lineup or do I need to call and get it added?

my roommate works at charter and he also thinks they will carry it by the time football season starts... but he's not quite as assured as you about it.

I would say it isn't a terrible idea to switch considering the season is less that 50 days away. you never know

Just my opinion, it will be a premium channel. I don't see them giving it away. It will probably be on the Sports Tier One package. (or whatever they call it. It is the mid 700 channels)

The AT&T guy didn't know if u200 offered the service in Texas so I went with 300 to be safe...it's cool tho since I got extra channels I was looking for.

Arkansas for sure. Thats why I switched, was worried they wouldnt get it done and I would miss the first freaking game. And A&M and USCE kick it all off on SECN AUG 28th.

Looks like Uverse moved the LHN to make room for SECN.
It will be right after ESPN2, 1609. Any word from Charter, Brighthouse or DTV? Anybody still have cable provider that hasnt confirmed?
