Already a 4* third rated duel threat QB. Absolutely killing it at the opening.

A few more tidbits on Blake
We lost on Town because we hired Kiffin. We gained Blake because we hired Kiffin (partly at least)
Is Kiffins natural ability to fall up rubbing off on his new employer? Will Blake be the nations top QB recruit when NSD comes around?
Update: seems as though that MVP is all his now.

Sean White won the Elite 11 last year and he was also MVP of the Under Armour game. Never reached anywhere close to 5 star status

Sean White is also smaller, less athletic and has less arm strength. If he had Barnett's measurables he would have had more offers and a high ranking.

Unless your name is Kyler Murray being a 5 star is about projecting your talent AND attributes to an NFL 1st rounder.
Sean White was 6'2 204 when he graduated high school
Blake Barnett is 6'4.5 200 (although he is older for his grade)
Barnett also runs a solid sub 5.0 40 unlike Sean (per his 247 profile)

If Sean White were 6'2 or taller, he would have been a 5 star.

Well Sean White wasn't able to benefit from the Bama bump

Deadly accuracy, solid arm strength, great pocket awareness, and outstanding intangibles.

I agree. It helps though and in the NFL thats what the scouts like. And 5 stars, at-least on 247 are based on NFL 1st round projections. In your honest opinion do you think Sean White will ever start at AU...?

Being 6'2 doesn't hold Qbs back. There must have been another reason he wasn't given a fifth star.
But what could hold Blake back from one now? I can't see anything.

quote:Yes. When depends on if Jeremy Johnson develops. If he does then White will sit behind him for 2 years but I think White starts after him if not next year.

Sean White isn't really 6'2... Probably closer to 6'0-6'1.

quote:White was held back because he was unheard of until he committed to Auburn and won the Elite 11 and he was short. He didn't get all the hype early on like the 4 and 5* guy do. You don't jump from a 3* to a 5* in less than a year.

Dude he's in shorts and a t shirt with no line rush or contact. Get a grip.
