Why does LSU hate Nick Saban so much?

LSU was a horrendous program in the 90's. They had records of
1990 5-6
1991 5-6
1992 2-9
1993 5-6
1994 4-7
1995 7-4-1
1996 10-2
1997 9-3
19984-7
1999 3-8

LSU was an irrelevant program til nick Saban took the reigns in 2000. Nick brought up LSU's football program and without him they would be lucky to have more then four winning seasons in a decade, yet they hate him. Nick Saban saved the LSU football program and they still hate him. Bringing the first championship to Baton Rouge since 1958.

LSU face it nick Saban is your Jesus, stop ignoring it and finally thank him for your prosperity.

Because he came back to the same division and elevated a program that we already hated, and has stayed there longer.

And I honestly don't hate him, he was obviously a huge part of our resurgence. His defenses were so much fun to watch. But I still want to break his face every year.

LSU football didn't exist before 2000, so this thread doesn't make any sense.

Anyways, Saban was an underperformer who was handed the keys to heaven and came out with a paltry single championship. Anyone else would have won 6 straight.

LSU may have never won the west if it wasn't for Saban.

LSU resents Saban because he realized after a few seasons that he was coaching at a Tier 2 program. He left for the NFL then Alabama because he knew the ceiling had been reached at LSU.

We loved him when he was here. We were disappointed, but understanding when he left for the NFL. However, coming back to college football to play at a division rival and making them a perennial National Title contender and multi-time winner isn't going to sit well no matter who the coach is.

Why don't you go ask Saban why he didn't recruit Eli Manning
