Wow, the same thing happened for Rutgers last year.

Aggy started to expand their stadium, but in typical aggy fashion, the game has been moved to uncle jerriah's.

I'm reading "season tickets."
You think Arkansas is responsible for Red Raiders selling out non-Ark games?
Wow.
That is impressive.

The only way to ensure a ticket to that game is to buy season tickets...

Kingsbury has NOTHING to do with that.

I just read he knocked up Eva Mendes, so probably not.

I'm willing to bet a decent amount of money that the sell out has to do with TexasT playing back to back home games vs Texas and Oklahoma. Not so much Arkansas. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Well most school don't sell single game tickets when you have a home slate of big interest games, and they especially don't when you have a OOC game with a power conference.

They make you buy the whole season to get the good game that you want.

So scalpers buy more season tickets because they know they can make that investment back off a couple big games when a team like Arkansas that has a reputation for traveling really well and packing the house (this is a big reason for Arkansas' apparent lack luster record in bowls, we typically get better bowls and against big name opponents that have a better team on paper. The draw of Arky money and national attention gets us into bowls against better teams than we'd be playing if we were a Texas A&m or Tennessee)

Big traveling fanbases have also learned that it's cheaper to buy early, buy the season package and sell off the other games on ticket exchanges rather than buy an inflated ticket for just one game. If there's other games of big interest that season you can pay for the tickets, and your trip by selling to the schmucks that didn't buy early and are left to buy from scalpers.

Yeah, it isn't that far to Razorback Stadium South, just a little west from the old Barnhill South.

Historically, yes.

How many 8 win teams have made it to the cotton bowl in recent years?

We use to play in the Sugar bowl against the SEC's best as the 2nd place SWC team, first got the cotton back then.

How much?

In 2012 TTech had the same conference slate of home games as they do this season. OU, Texas, Baylor, WVU, and Kansas.

The only difference in 2014 is the Hogs are coming to town for the first time since 1991.

Tech had a momentum killing 5 game losing streak to close the regular season last year. In which the least amount of points they gave up was 38 on the road in Norman. OSU did em for 52, Kstate 49, Baylor 63, and shitty Texas crushed em like the old days 41-16.

Maybe it's the excitement over Kingsbury's Top 5 recruiting class?

Oh wait, my bad, I meant Top 50.

add in that they just kicked off the team their best recruit from the last class, who was a 3 star CB. They also booted him from school without due process. Lots of great publicity generated over that which surely led to a surge in ticket sales across West Texas.

He used the present tense. Hence, the question about Arky's apparent exemption from the bowl tie ins.

It was in reference to the bowl record which would be based on past results and bowls.

Are you still trying to get on our board?
