Has anyone been to the Dawghouse downtown?

It is the new restaurant/bar in the State Theatre building. It looks pretty cool from pics online. Hopefully someone will be able to turn that prime time spot into a longterm success.

It's a shame the State Theater bar didn't work. They got all high and mighty and started charging $10-15 cover and the bouncers were always dicks. But man when that thing first opened, the line would go all the way to fricking mugshots.

If you tab is usually $2K to $3K, they will waive those cover charges, so no worries. Hell, they will even make sure you (and your daughters

It's pretty miserable then too. Takes 30 minutes to get a drink and it's shoulder to shoulder throughout the whole bar.
