I would rather just worry about terrorist attacks when they happen than have my privacy violated in this manner. Seriously.

I have always had this opinion. Don't give a damn. I understand its wrong but there will never be anything that we can do about it..
Big brother has always been watching and always will. Once you think they are not watching, they will be.
Really dont care and think we are spending too much effort fighting it when there are much bigger fires to put out.

This is all that needs to be said, honestly. No one is going to stop, not even if we have a revolution of sorts (although any uprising against the military if they military were against the common people would fail, so we'll say a bloodless military coup) they would literally be like: Oh, so we can read everything at any time? Well, guess we'll just destroy tha--...nah, you're right.
The narrative is simple, and if any other country had discovered what we did, they would be using it to the fullest without any reservation whatsoever.
Can you imagine if Russia or China figured it out? They'd be watching us all bate and switch all day.
