Dude, the MEDIA hypes these players.
Rivals, ESPN, FoxSports, Scout, and local newspapers, sites, TV and radio, and message boards, etc.
'Mettsiah' was drafted by an NFL team, Shepard is a free agent, and Fournette was the top-rated high school recruit last year - but the media hyped him.
Fans just hype the already hyped - by the media.
LSU had SEVENTEEN players leave for the NFL the last two years. I suppose the NFL teams signed these players because of what the FANS think ??????????

better than saying that our players suck, and infinitely more fun than not saying anything at all (will leave that to others like tennessee). i guess we're just stupid for being happy and/or excited.
