Any word on Mincy?

Probably 1 game. I don't think he has had issues with drugs before (not publicly at least). Probably gets hell month with Russell and misses Arky. I think that would be more than enough punishment.

PM from 247 just posted that per a "watcher" of Malzahn (close to him)exepect Malzahn to treat the situation much differently had this been a freshman due to the fact he expects so much more from seniors. Also said that the charges are somewhat "nebulous". I'd say a game or two at most from reading this.

Correct PM said the chargers "appear" to be nebulous BUT Malzahn holds his upperclassmen to higher expectations than freshamn / sophs. Probably 1 game or maybe even 1 half.

Mincy was suspended previously under Chizik.
Was that suspension because of a failed drug test? Don't know. But if it was, this is Mincy's second offense and that would be 50% of the season under AU's drug policy.

PM made it sound like Mincy may have had nothing to do with the weed in the car. Maybe some light will come out on the situation soon

According to the statements from the arresting officer he had "shake" all over his shirt and they found the bag of dope in the backseat. It sounded to me as if the bag had been thrown into the backseat, otherwise I wouldn't see a reason in it being all over him, unless he was trying to eat it! Lol.
