Sat, Sep 06 Sam Houston St. Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium) 6:30 p.m.
Sat, Sep 13 UL-Monroe Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium) 6:00 p.m.
Sat, Sep 20 Mississippi St. Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium)
Sat, Sep 27 New Mexico St. Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium)

Sat, Oct 25 Ole Miss * Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium) TBA

Thu, Nov 27 Texas A&M * at College Station, Texas (Kyle Field)
Its really hard to see it with that schedule.
Wisconsin returns a veteran roster and should be looking at a play off spot with the roster they have, LSU loses a close one.
SHSU will be a win as well as NMSt too get to two wins, ULM likely a win since they will have a young roster this season to get to 3 wins.
Then in SEC play, Ms. State should be a win, but Ms. State returns most of their roster from last year this game is more of a toss up.
LSU travels to Auburn where they will suffer a loss. Then they travel to Florida, it is unlikely Florida suffers the amount of injuries this year as they did last, Florida's defense is good enough to get them the win.
Kentucky comes to town to give LSU their 4th, maybe 5th win on the year.
Ole Miss is the homecoming game, LSU will likely want to revenge their loss last season, but OM's freshmen who beat them will now be Sophs, so again another toss up for their 5th/6th win.
Bama follows to hand them their 4th, maybe 5th loss on the season.
The following week they travel to Arkansas who comes off a bye to play in LSU's superbowl, Arkansas will be looking to improve their bowl game, if LSU catches Arkansas looking ahead to Mizzou they could win. More than likely their 5th or 6th loss.
Then they finish the season on a short week traveling to aggyland, a place LSU has never performed well in. The fact LSU has a defense and aTm does not will be enough for LSU to win their 6th to become bowl eligible if they lose both toss ups to the Mississippi schools.
8-4 might be the ceiling for LSU this year, its really hard to find more than 6 wins on their schedule.

No 10 is more than likely considering the past 4 seasons.

I think 8 is the number. Too much talent to the NFL that Les couldn't keep around.

8 wins is wayyy too generous. tDecline is, and has been REAL. 0-8 in conference, for sure. Maybe pull a fast one against Sam Houston or ULM, but I doubt it!

arkansas fans are pissed that the Ole Miss racists are stealing their offseason thunder

Agreed. Really concerned that our bowl streak may be in jeopardy.

I can see LSU going 6-6. I think Bert gets his first SEC win against the swamp kittens.
