I watched the replay of Oregon-Tennessee last year and Tennessee fans took up about 2 sections at Autzen. They had high hopes after knocking off powerhouses Austin Peay and Western Kentucky in their first two games.

It was funny to see how the Vol fans were celebrating hard in the first quarter when they had a brief lead only to watch their faces go from excitement to disbelief once Oregon started running up the score

Since the Oklahoma matchup is pointing toward a likely double digit Sooner win will Tennessee fans bother to make the trip this time after last year's destruction at Autzen and the humiliation involved?

I'm sure some will?

Are you talking about the fans in general or the five posters that actively post here?

What a dumb thread.

No sane Tennessee fan thought we would beat Oregon last year and no one thinks we will beat Oklahoma this year.

I will be there because I have a free flight to use and I doubt we'll play at Oklahoma again any time soon, if ever. I expect us to get blown out.

The real question should be:

Why is Oklahoma scheduling an out of conference cupcake like Tennessee?

I won't but there will be plenty of UT fans that will. UT fans travel well. I expect to lose by 50 just like last year at Autzen.

frick you Mike Hamilton. He's been gone for 3 years and his schedule is still fricking us.

I will be there.
Just like I was in Eugene, which we had a great crowd.

is the OP trying to give UT shite for making a 3k+ mile trip across the country in droves to a game they knew they had no shot at winning? Generally, one would look favorably on that type of fan support.

Aren't you the "nba is scripted" guy? Figured you would lay low for a while...

Nah, I won't be there, but there will be quite a few Tennessee fans there. Reminds me of the "are Bonita fish big?" question from Dale on Stepbrothers

You will be disappointed compared to Oregon's atmosphere. OU with twice as many people will be twice as quite, unless they are chanting booomer.....soooner. Other than that its like being in a library.

I was surprised to hear Oregon fans say it was the most fans from an opposing fanbase(outside of the pac12)in their stadium. Especially considering everyone knew the outcome would be an L.

They are trying to match the powerful Crimson Tide in terms of strength of schedule.

BUT, if they had real balls, they would schedule the Florida Gators...

I was surprised how small the stadium was. It made some noise for its size, but it wasn't loud. That was impressive. The amount of sound for the size of the stadium.

I've been accused of opting in every UT thread so I didn't want to disappoint

That's Oregon's claim to fame.

OU seats a decent amount of people, but Oregon is twice as loud.

Plus the pregame festivities are "meh" at best.

Oklahoma is one of those schools that I would make the trip for. And I don't travel often.
