I'm glad Alabama won the Natty in 2011 but What if OK st hadn't lost.

LSU would have stomped the shite out of them and 2012 would have (maybe still) been Bama's year. The SEC would look just as strong or stronger.

It's going to make defenses better to play HUNH teams and power teams in the same confrere. I'll be glad when the playoffs go to 8 or more.

Think Auburn fans will say I don't care if we beat Bama we've got the record to be in the playoffs win or lose?

Think Ole Miss will lay down against LSU because they've already been mathematically eliminated from the Playoffs? Or Bama or AtM?

Think Saban will decide all he needs to do is get a split against HUNH conference teams so he wont worry about Auburn if he wins against the others?

The Ol Ball coach is still gonna imply he could've won them all if they'd just rank his recruiting classes higher.

I'm looking forward to getting a mulligan when another team teaches mine a lesson that can only be learned by getting beaten by a team that's willing to prepare and practice like it means more to them.

On another note. AJ wasn't Bamas best QB, and with the right tinted glasses I can say it wont be long with the ones they've got competing for the job AJ's best season will be just considered average.

Damn I'll be glad when it means something to beat Tennessee again.

Bama posters were not the worst posters on the SECr?

I dont know what I would do honestly. It would be a small wink from up high that there is a better life waiting.

I could put a lot of thought in trolling Missouri but you're to easy a target.

Then Alabama would only claim 49 national championships instead of 50

Footnotes.....

That OK State team jailraped a better OU squad than the one that midget-tossed Saban this past year.

If the LSU squad showed up against OSU as showed up against the elephants, the streak would have ended sooner.

I still think OK st wins. , LSU just did not look like they wanted to be there. Some nights you just don't have it, and they had been asked to get up for multiple games that year and till that point had. I think they were dead on their feet....

But , Alabama did play great that night.
And you deserved to win and get the title , that night Bama was the better team.

However, I still don't believe Bama deserved to play in the game no matter the result. The ends don't always justify the means! In my opinion the circumstances of OK State's loss , Bama losing at home, the fact Saban has a vote and Gundy did not. Then putting OK St below Stanford, slimmest margin between 2 and 3 ever. If rolls had been reversed OK St would have been in.

All in all. Once again. Ok State would have beaten LSU that night.
