7 for UGA-

Ray Drew DE
John Theus LT lol (yes he was a 5 star)
Jordan Jenkins OLB
Keith Marshall RB
Sony Michel RB
Nick Chubb RB
Lorenzo Carter DE/OLB

Seems like alot until you start looking at other teams.

LSU and Auburn both have 6.

Florida has 10.

Looks like Bama has 15. Bastards.

And they back-up the best RB in the country....

Strange, I would have guessed that LSU would have had 10+

It is wild to think we will have three 5 star RBs but none will be our featured back.

If JHC was still here, that would be 8.

If Gaillard hadn't been bumped down to 4 star after injury, that would be 9.

If Gurley had been ranked appropriately, that would be 10.

Also, I'm pretty sure someone had Mitchell ranked as a 5 star at some point, right?

Don't take those rankings seriously. LSU would have 3-4 5 star players every year if the recruiting sites saw it as profitable.

"Old Man Football"......

It's how we're gonna win.....if we're going to win.........

2014 minus 1980 equals 34......

Onward.

Athlife..

Hard to ignore the fact every nc winner in the last thousand years had a top 5 recruiting class on that nc team.

Eta for example, when uga had that dream team class it would have been within 2-3 years of the 5 yards to nc team

6 years ago, UGA also opened on August 30th
6 years ago, Logan Gray was #6
6 is the number of a jersey for a UGA player who went to Catholic Cult High School

Knowing that Mark Richt secretly serves the dark Lord Satan, these numbers can not be ignored.

With the confluence of these numbers, our sire Satan will assure us a victory.

Michel, Drew, and Carter were the only consensus five stars. The others were ranked differently on different sites.

This. Scout typically has higher rankings while Rivals has the others ranked as 4 stars. 247 doesn't show rankings for players in the database for non-paying viewers as such I will stop wasting time on historic searches on 247 and confine my use of the site to current/active recruiting.

Who will win this game?

Team A since 2012-
34 four star recruits and 6 five star recruits

Team B since 2012-
28 four star recruits and 0 five star recruits.

Team B is playing at home.

OK, I see now. I needed to click on the High School tab to see the recruiting rating; the College tab was selected by default after I did the search.

Pro tip.. Its easier to navigate 247 through google than their own search functions.

I think Crowell was a 5 star. This would be his 4th year.
