jaylen brown WILL go on his official visit next month. he has already gone to kansas and kentucky. will come here and go to ucla next month. then either unc or tech on his last visit.
im pretty stoked that we are pretty much in the top 4 at this point. i think we have an honest shot at getting him. take the kid to bourbon. frick it.

Is basketball going to be good this year?
IIRC I read somewhere they were preseason #4 in the SEC.

we just got voted 5th preseason by the coaches either today or yesterday.

Tevin Mack should be deciding any day now. Would be a nice get. It looks like we still lead for him but UCONN is coming on strong.

Tevin's recruiting story has been crazy. He was trending towards UCONN being our major competition but now i heard it is probably VCU and maybe SC too. Seems all over the place. The one consistent team has been us.
Also Ogbeide cancelled his VT visit this weekend to come back to visit us and he is bringing his dad. We went from in the race to possibly the favorite there. Would love to close out this class with those 2.

also, jaylen brown WILL NOT be going on an official visit to uga anymore. that kinda blows. we still have teeny tiny shot, but almost nobody commits to a school that they dont take an official too.
on the bright side, tech is probably out of it as well.
i think we definitely get ogbeide and everyone seems to think mack to VCU. we are definitely still in that hunt though. he announces tomorrow at 12. the more i read, the less of a chance it looks like we have.
lastly, kenny gaines is expected to get some minutes on friday, which is obviously good.
