Yea I'd rather stay away from Kentucky just hope to win as many games we can before running into them

Same here. If we ended up making it that far, we'd be an absolute stone cold lock for the NCAAT so it wouldn't really matter, but still.

To be honest, I wonder if it might be better (assuming we beat missouri and AU regular season and 1 game in the SECT) to just go out sooner and get as rested and healthy as possible before the real thing.

Yea it might help but if Kentucky slips up and gets knocked out and we do have an opportunity for sec championship I'd take that for sure! If not win one lost to arky and get ready for the big dance

Watching Georgia, I see an NCAA Tourney team. 8 Top 100 W's, 3 Top 50 W's and 6 Top 150 ROAD W's. Marcus Thornton is terrific. UGA can play.

Hell yeah Jay, night and day different than greenberg

If we do what we're supposed to we'll finish the regular season with 20 wins and a top 30 RPI. No way we're left out with that resume.

The recent bracket has us at an 8 seed. I'm curious if we could beat Mizzou and Auburn, lose to UK, then win 2 games in the SECT if we could maybe get the 7 seed? Seems possible at this point and not too much of a stretch. Regardless we are in right now and are 100% in with a win over Mizzou

That's the ideal scenario. Teams that don't go into the tourney with any momentum usually are a one and done.

UGA is much better off with a 7 or 10 seed. A second round matchup against a #1 seed, assuming we get a 8 or 9, isn’t the best scenario. Beat Kentucky and that will put us in at 6 or 7 seed

Longshot, I know.....

Beating UK can be done... If anyone can do it, it's us in Athens.

ESPN moved us up to "teams that should be in" on the bubble watch, so let's take care of business this weekend and move us to a lock.

Nice.

I'm pretty concerned about this game to be honest. Missouri just beat Florida but we are coming off probably our best week of the season and you know the players are already thinking about knocking off UK. I know Missouri is terrible but I really hope we don't look ahead. I think if we win this game we are pretty much a lock.

We can lose to anybody at home. We shouldn't, but it is most definitely possible. If we are looking ahead to Kentucky it is even probable.

UGA SF Juwan Parker (Achilles), out 11 straight games, could play Saturday vs. Missouri. “If he’s feeling well, we may try,” Mark Fox said.

Have I mentioned how much I hate when Charles takes threes?

Well I hate it.

What is our starting 5 looking like next year? I can't imagine us being good with Nemi/Thornton

Backcourt should be very good, front court will be a major struggle. Gonna have to rely on unproven guys.

I'm on phone but can talk more in depth later. I don't get espnu so I'm sitting at a bar ha
