Looks like 2016 commit Jordan Harris just put up 41 and 10 in the AA state championship game. That's pretty dang impressive.

had 5 assists too and beat a talented team in the state title. Great thing is he might not be the best scorer in that class cause Tyree Crump is phenomenal as well. That is gonna be a heck of a 1-2 in Athens in a few years.

You guys think we need a win today to lock-in tourny bid? If we lose today and first game in SECT, I think we get passed over. I didn't think that a few days ago, but now I am fairly convinced. Especially now that LSU has played their way out.

Nah, our resume is pretty stout. If we do lose today, we have to win in the SECT though and we likely drop seeding for the ncaat.
If we win today it's a lock, but I don't think a win today is REQUIRED.

Kind of makes me nervous that LSU, Ole Miss, and aTm all have better overall records and better conference records than we do ('cept for LSU, we have the same conference record, but they have the tie breaker and 21 total wins to our 19).
I know - RPI, etc.
Still makes me nervous. That makes us the #6 SEC team, based on total won/loss records, both in conference and out.
And if we lose to Auburn this afternoon we will have been swept by both Auburn and South Carolina and can't really complain too much about what happens to us, imvho.

We played a much tougher schedule out of conference than any of those teams. The committee rewards that and it was the reason we were left out of the tournament last year. I have a really hard time we'll be left out even if we do lose our next two games.

I agree with all of that and believe you are absolutely correct.
I just get nervous seeing teams in conference below us on the RPI pecking order with better records.
But then - I probably get nervous easy.

We have the tiebreaker with Ole Miss and TAMU but not LSU.
- If we lose we are the 6 seed regardless.
- If we win & LSU loses at Arky, we are the 5 seed.
- If those 2 things happen and 1 of Ole Miss, TAMU loses, we get the double bye & the 4 seed.
- If everyone of those teams loses and we win, 3 seed.
- If we lose we are the 6 seed regardless.
- If we win & LSU loses at Arky, we are the 5 seed.
- If those 2 things happen and 1 of Ole Miss, TAMU loses, we get the double bye & the 4 seed.

and Lunardi said today UGA is a lock regardless of what happens from here on out. I think if we win today or at least 1 in the SECT we are very comfortably in. Getting win 20 today and avoiding another bad loss would be big.
We did a terrific job in scheduling and that is why we are in. We avoided playing the 250+ RPI teams that kill your SOS and RPI, and we won games on the road.
