Interesting. I thought McClain quit for the second time during the Ravens' spring camp.

I'm guessing he's looking to retire a third time.

And to answer your question, no, I don't recall him being a problem player.

speaks volumes about the guys talents that anyone would be willing to trade anything for him, because without the structure he was provided at Alabama he's turned into a loose cannon

Jerry Jones never disappoints. Sorry, McClain was great at UA, but he was straight garbage in the NFL. No reason for Dallas to do this.

No, not at all. Hell Saban wanted to adopt the dude. He was "coach on the field" etc etc. Just a sad case. Glad he is getting this chance

A friend of mine was a trainer for the football team, he couldn't have spoken higher about Rolando McClain. Apparently, he had as much to do with the turnaround of the Bama program as Saban. Now I don't necessarily buy that, but I'm sure he had a huge impact on the players around

He didn't quit...didn't train properly and couldn't make it through the physical, was asked to stop before he passed out

Not just anyone - the Dallas Cowboys and their historically, catastrophically terrible defense.

I have first hand knowledge of his behavior in high school and he was a serious problem. Constantly in trouble and only a small step from jail on more than one occasion.

in the NFL, total head case and a constant behavioral problem.

I have no idea how he behaved at bama but no public reports of issues, so he must have been on a tight leash. I give credit to saban for controlling him while he was there.

Dude is a thug plain and simple. I spent an hour a day with him in Decatur during the off season. Dude didn't break w sweat once.

I wish he would just go away. Some of y'all would stick any dick in your mouth that played for Alabama I swear

I agree.

There are plenty of former players to admire who have good character. (mark ingram, shaun alexander, etc)

thug is thug.

even when they play for my team. (mike dyer, trailer park 4, robert baker, etc)

Desperation is a strong motivator and Dallas is desperate.

McClain has always been a piece of shite. Only a homer would disagree.
