Jacob Coker and Blake Bortles

Watching the little film we have on Jacob and watching Blake Bortles these guys seem like identical type of QB's...cannon arm, not that accurate, agility, very streaky, both 6'5", ball seems to sail too high for WR's when they do miss (probably because of their stature) and they both have the attributes to be a great QB...does anyone else see Blake in Jacob or Jacob in Blake...I think if we want to see the future just watch Blake Bortles highlights.

Similar, but Coker has been coached by Fisher for three years, and is about to be coached by Kiffin/Saban.

its hard to tell with coker. all we have are his 36 2013 snaps before getting hurt. when i watch those, i see some really god awful 2nd or 3rd string oline play. scrub teams are just walking right through the line, and he is under constant pressure. about a quarter of his incompletions are tipped passes because a DL or LB is right in his face, several are drops. i only see about 5 actually bad passes that are not him throwing it away (his int was tipped by his receiver), really good coverage knocking i down, or the receiver dropping one. we cant know now how he will do for us, but the level of play around him on first team bama is going to be so far above what he was playing with in garbage time at fsu its not even comparable. I expect he will do just fine
