Whoever we had in 1977. We played Notre Dame in Jackson (the eventual national champs) and won because the water boys from ole miss "forgot" to bring the visiting team's ice to the game. It was the second game of the year so needless to say I doubt the Yankees were used to that heat, especially with no ice.

I'll be really surprised if anyone tops this.

It's nice to see that Bama had a history or hiring little folk prior to Saban. Takes the pressure off him to represent as the first of his kind.

I don't recall that story, but every year before football practice was about to start my grand father would also talk about how all you needed to stay hydrated back in the day was a bag of salt and a jar of pickle juice.
