I know there are a lot of good knowledgable people on this site so I thought id start a topic so maybe I'll get some answers regarding why the sec network as of now is not avaliable on comcast. Is there a chance they pick it up before September? And if they won't get it will you be able to see sec network content on the WATCH ESPN APP on a iPad or roku box? Thanks for any help guys!

If it's not available on Comcast then you won't be able to watch it on Watch ESPN

SEC Network is only available through 2 providers right now

Technically 3. Google Fiber signed on in May.

It's actually like 30 providers but 27 of them are like Southern Montana bell

I was contemplating switching to comcast, called them, and the guy said they couldn't promise anything on the network. Didn't even hint that it was probable. I stuck with AT&T and they reduced my bill for staying with them. Win/win all around.

I meant to say 2 providers that anyone gives a damn about.

I guarantee you if Google Fiber were available here (1080p on every channel, 400mbps internet) I'd kick Comcast to the curb.

Comcast is going to find a way to block them just like they have blocked ATT Uverse

Comcast is truly awful for t.v.

I have had their 50mbps internet which is fantastic for $50/month but their t.v. lineup cost an arm and a damn leg for anything decent, they were so unwilling to bundle my internet with a good t.v. package for anything less than a combined like $140 a month.

I went out and got Uverse t.v. for $75 a month, all channels except HBO/Cinemax and LHN (lulz).

Uverse is decent, the quality isnt as nice as cable or satellite, but the price is tough to beat. I couldnt get satellite unfortunately

Their choice for launch cities are strange...outside of Austin.

Launching in Kansas City and Provo?

I hope so, because talking to comcast customer support in southeast India is akin to your profession.

Hint - if someone answers and says his name is "Jawhn" or "Tehd" just fricking hand up.

Comcast is awesome for TV. I have all the sports channels and high def with multiple boxes.my bill after tax is like $65. That said, if they don't get to work and get SEC network by the beginning of August I'll drop them like a bad habit.

I dont know how yo got a $65 deal with them but their "deals" are awful. Cheapest setup for me with 50mbps internet was $140 a month, and that was the introductory price

We have almost every channel including hbo, their best internet, phone (because it came with the package), and home security for less than 200 a month.

Some of you fricks are getting ripped off.

I used to bitch about Comcast, then I moved back, got Cox, and realized what shitty cable is like. I have now been with Dish over a year, and enjoy it for the most part.

My problem with providers other than Comcast has been the delay when using the guide. I know it sounds petty, but it's just very annoying.
