Freeloader Nanny

Worth the read if you want to get pissed off.

Live-in nanny won't work anymore or leave. Is this only a California law regarding eviction rights? Once "residency is established" (which is vague as hell) you have to go through an "eviction process". And of course the cops can't do anything.

As it turns out this woman has a history of suing for pretty much anything. There's a side of me that would just drag her arse out into the street and change the locks. But the law is on her side. New law anyone?

She'll be on the street in 60 days but those eviction court costs will be a bitch in Cali.

I would've conducted a much more thorough background check before opening my home to a complete stranger

Seems like a breach of contract to me. The housing was agreed upon based on her working around the house. The nanny broke the contract. Now California law may have its own hitches to thrown in it, but this seems obvious. Bitch should have no standing in any reasonable legal system.

With ppl like that you have to be creative iin such a way that they want to leave.

Great Sopranos episode where Tony parked his boat just infront of a guys house that was keeping his money so he blared music at the house until he got paid.

That is what you have to do. you want her out, make it soo bad that she wants to leave. Take the bedroom door off the hinges and call it a remodeling project. Send the kids away for a week and blare music at 3 am. Sleep deprevation will drive her out.

Bar the door to the room she's staying in, change the locks.

Get into a new spicy food kick. Serve her only indian food or real spicy SW food that she cannot handle for fear of getting an ulcer.

Remove all the toilets from the house because you are "replacing the pipes".

Shoot her in the head and drive out to the desert and bury her somewhere if she is not gonna do her damn job or get the frick out of the house.

Sure is a Hell of a lot cheaper than legal fees and if they had been smart and not gone to the cops prior no one would ever know.

But that is just what my opinion is. IMO she is no different right now than someone trespassing on there property. I feel people should be allowed to kill trespassers.

First of all, I would do a better background check IF I ever hired a live in nanny and there would be some serious contracts up front laying out exactly what was happening.

The bullshite side of this to me is how the police claim this is a civil matter. I would lie my arse off and say that she pushed me and have her arrested for assault to get her out. A person like this needs to eat a bullet and be gone from the world.

I live in rural New Mexico. Even if not legal it is easy enough to do...... I think. Haven't had to yet and hopefully will not have to put my theory to the test.

This would make a fantastic reality show production I can't believe no one has considered it yet.
