If people would have followed this, then we wouldn't have even had the housing bubble that led to the recession in the first damn place.

I can afford them. I just prefer to pay multiple times what they're worth over a long period of years.

The worst are people buying designer clothes for their kids. If you've got the money then do whatever you want, but hot damn how many toddlers do you see in Polo, North Face, and Nike?

I wore hand-me-downs from my cousins and I liked it (I didn't like it, but I'm glad that my mom wasn't wasting money on shite I was gonna tear up and get filthy anyway).

Please don't.

We're political oil and water, and you hate my guts, but keeping doing whatever it is you do.

We were approved for much more than we could afford for our current house. We were smart enough to realize it.

Happened to gazillions of Americans.

Bad banking practices backed by bad government policy led to a fricking sinkhole that people were just pouring money into. fricking travesty is what it was.

It's a small part of what really caused the bubble.

But I love my NF pullovers. They're thin and are great for camping, and I don't get mad when embers from the fire take them out.

It's pointless really. They barely get to wear it once anyway.

The speculation market was a huge reason. (Speculation gets hardly any attention but it has severe repercussions. Food speculation, which makes starvation much worse will hopefully be illegal in the near future).

Low interest rates, creating cheap money.

Safe harboring in real estate after the dot.com burst.
