No set date for when they are coming yet though. It'll be interesting to see how they work out here. I didn't think the demand was enough for Fayetteville. But the cheap rates will thump the competition.

There's also a guy about to release 10-15 electric car/golf cart deals onto the streets that you hop in a pay through your phone and then you just leave it wherever and the next person gets it, be interesting to see how that works

They do, and they are inconsistent. They're focused on XNA and Benton County during the day, and only hit Dickson in large numbers around 10pm.

Ya they suck. It should not be $20 for me to get to Dickson to my house and it's like 3.2 miles. Last time I used Uber I went 6 miles with 2 people and it was $17

Well that's just it as I either drove myself or rode a bike--never used a taxi and I may have ridden the campus bus a few times. And walked. And hitched a ride now and then.

Stoked about this, as it's just in time for Roots Festival. I'll be at the sponsor's party at the Garner's tonight, and I don't plan on driving much for the rest of the weekend beyond that point.

It's not so much the 30 dollars for 3 miles they charge me to go home, it's the fricking 4 hour wait in the morning to take me back. Ridiculous.
Hopefully some uber drivers are up early. F the cab companies, all of em.
