I still can't believe it. I wasn't sure I'd ever see it happen. Makes all those years of sitting in the cold, snow and rain in February games worth it. So happy for Tim Corbin. Nobody deserves this more than him. No one.
This team is actually a year ahead of schedule. So for this to happen now is simply amazing.

I always figured we had a decent chance in basketball, with the right coach (Fogler, maybe, had he stuck around) but baseball never really seemed like a good likelihood. So this title is pretty damned cool.

Yeah, we've had some really good basketball teams who just didn't seem to ever break though. That would have been my pick too 5 years ago. Well, Corbs flipped that script. I just hope it drives the entire athletic department to more success.
