You watching College World Series?

That't the thing about basketball and baseball; the "best" aka the team with the best record isn't always the team that wins the championship; it's the team that is the hottest at the end of the season.

But yea, I would like to see Vandy represent the SEC and win the series.

4 years ago we were the only other SEC school (besides LSU) to win a national title. That's a pretty big feather in your cap. Well now SC has not only won one, they've got 2. We went from being in an exclusive club of 2 to being lapped in just 2 years.

I dont' want another SEC school to win one, regardless of the team...although if I HAAAAAD to pick someone it would be vandy. I'd pull for them to win it all in pretty much any other sport, just not this one.

There's really only us 3 that have a national title to this point? I'd have thought arky or one of the Mississippis would by the way they talk about baseball. Same with Florida

Ours in 1990 was actually the first baseball title in SEC history if memory serves. Then LSU won like 6 in teh next decade.

Right up to 2011 or whatever we had something that only 1 other SEC baseball team could claim. Now, not only does another team have double what we have, another one could join the club as well.

Obviously haven't watched much of it since I didn't know Vandy and Virginia had started playing until I read this thread. I did watch the last Vandy v.Texas game which was good. Seems like they should have a 7 or at least a 5 game series for the championship. The World Series is the only baseball series that I really watch.

I do hope that Vandy wins it all, nothwithstanding some of the insufferable pricks who post on the board.
