I've seen it reported anywhere from 24 to 30. I think more than 25 is very doubtful unless Butch really starts processing some fools at a rapid rate.

According to 247, we've got 7 right now that plan on being EEs.

I updated it. And from everything I've read about Woods, there's nearly zero chance that he signs with UT now that he's been ruled ineligible for this season. IMO, Joq Bruce took his spot weeks ago.

Ok, so as of right now, we have 22 commitments, not bad for not having played a game yet.

Yeah, we've filled almost all of our needs. The only guys left now are the elite heavy hitters (Richmond, Tuttle, Phillips etc.)

If we make a bowl game, I expect to finish with a borderline top 5 class

Looks like Sapp is pretty much a done deal.

Who do you think we finish up with?

We need to look in Derrius Guice
4* RB that has reopened his recruiting options with LSU.

Kid is down hill grinder, would be a good two headed monster matching up with hurd in short yardage situations.

Does anyone else think that with Kirkland being a EE, he's got a shot to start from day one? Or am I crazy?

Jakob and Bynum name get thrown around a lot for MLB in 2015, but I never hear about Gavin Bryant. I think he got a RS this year but haven't heard anything else on him.

It wouldn't surprise me. Bynum is not the long term answer at MLB and I think Jakob needs to move to DE. I watched Kirkland's hudl yesterday and I was EXTREMELY impressed with his instincts and pursuit.

Funny you mention Bryant. Rocky Top Insider was really bragging about him and how much better he's gotten in their write up about today's practice. I hope they're right.

Bates should be a factor at MLB next year, right?

Ive seen that said lately.

I'm expecting a lot of dime packages with JRM and Bates as the two linebackers.

That wasn't our "base formation" this year but it seemed like it was run more often than a traditional 4-3.
