Maybe wrong board, but I have to go from Little Rock to the Columbus, OH area later this week. I can go to Nashville and turn North to Louisville (all interstate) or could go North at Memphis and pick up the Parkway.
Anyone driven this and can shed light on which would be better ? The mileage looks pretty close either way but wondering if there is a scenic drive on the Parkway vs interstate.

Take the parkway route. You will like it so much better than going the Nashville to Louisville route (traffic sucks on the interstate through there). Go north from Memphis and hit the western KY parkway and follow it to Elizabethtown. Now here you can still take I-65 north to Louisville, or you can take the Bluegrass parkway to Lexington (recommended) since you'll miss Louisville traffic and I-64. Once to Lexington you can hit I-75 north to Cincy and go from there.

Note: Bluegrass parkway is 9002 on goole maps. Goes by Bardstown and Versailles.

Way more scenic route also, and far less traffic as already stated.

Fair warning. I-65 around Louisville is an unmitigated clusterfrick right now (and likely for the next couple years) due to the Ohio River Bridges Project. Unless you want to stop in Louisville for whatever reason, I would avoid anything that brings you around here (and FWIW I live here in Louisville, it's a good city but traffic is awful right now).

ETA: Also the scenic drive through Kentucky on the Western Kentucky Parkway is nice. We really do have some pretty scenery here.

Sorry to hear that part

Here is a suggestion

Little Rock to Nashville via interstate
Nashville north to BG Parkway
BG Parkway to Lexington
Lexington to Cincinnati
Cincinnati to Columbus

BG Parkway is low traffic and it take you right past Bardstown - where several bourbon distilleries are - and ends in Versailles - home of more distilleries. If you want to make slight trip west at Versailles you can hit Frankfort distilleries. The upside of BG parkway is there is never much traffic for a highway like road so it is easy and relaxing.

Some other points :
Corvette Museum is halfway between Nashville and BG Parkway
Lexington is more scenic drive than Louisville
Cincinnati means stops at Graters (ice cream), Skyline (coneys), and Little Kings (ale) triple play!

I have family that drives from Hot Springs to Louisville and they usually drive 64 to 57 to 55 to West memphis then 40 into LR. Not as fond of that drive and few places to stop but they like it as they like to speed and that stretch between Memphis and Nashville is one of the worst speed traps in the USA.

I frequently travel the West Kentucky Parkway. It's a bit... desolate. As in, there are something like 5 exits on the whole thing desolate. Bluegrass Parkway isn't exactly hopping, but it'll save you a ton of time and there are some interesting things to do if you feel like stopping.

I've traveled the Western Kentucky Parkway as well and I wouldn't recommend it. As Legend says, it's pretty desolate and it's not a particularly pretty drive.

I would follow the advice of another poster and take 65N out of Nashville to the Bluegrass Parkway in E-town. The BG runs right into Lexington and you can catch 75N to Cincinnati.

The BG is a decent drive (not a patch on the Mountain Parkway) and Lexington offers a few nice spots to grab lunch/dinner on the way.

Just wanted to add also that I-65 north of Nashville has some construction going on and that it can become a bit of a parking lot at random times right now. You probably would be fine going that way as others have recommended, but just a heads up. It sure is a mess in the mornings.
