That is the bar that Coach Bert has set as the R-Kansas head football coach.
The Hog defense allowed 49 touchdowns last year in their historical winless season in conference play.
The SEC is supposed to be a conference of defense huh?
49 touchdowns...
Let that sink in for a minute.
ok....now that we've gotten the facts out, I pose a question to the SEC Rant.
The over/under for TDs allowed by the Hogs in 2014 is 49. What do you think?
49 Touchdowns

He actually gave up a few more but he ate em

That's nothing. We gave up 54. But then again we finished with 9 wins and ranked in the teens. Guess that's what happens when you can score 45 a game.

R-Kansas should join the Sun Belt conference so they can compete.

They are playing Texas Tech and Northern Illinois as OOC plus Mizz and UGA as cross divisional opponents. I am going over based on difficulty not based on quality of D. They should be better. Hard to be worse

My gut reaction was to go under, but that is a good point. The SEC as a whole should score a lot less due to so many QBs leaving for the NFL this year, so it could swing either way. Harder question to answer than it seems

Here's the more pressing question: will Alabama shutout Arkansas for a third consecutive year?

Same defense, no Manziel. Should be a helluva year for the Ags.

Not the same defense... We dismissed 2 of our leading tacklers recently, it may have gotten worse... Unless these freshman/sophmores make some huge leap to being anywhere near decent, we will be hanging around the bottom of the country again. I am hoping they prove me wrong.
Offense will still put up 40+ a game though.

Over. Auburn is gonna put 7 touchdowns on them in game 1.

Arky had 7 TDs scored on them two weeks in a row last year. I think that's their lucky number.
I'm going with the over as well.

Since we're not on their schedule this year ... I'll go with under.
How many of those 49 TDs that they gave-up were ours (SCAR's) - seven (7) I think? We only kicked one FG but with the seven extra points our FG kicker tweeted, after being taunted by some of their fans ...

Arkansas has given up 111 consecutive points to Alabama. When does that end?
