One Southeastern Conference assistant who was his lead recruiter, along with another who was his potential position coach, told me that the 6-foot-3, 235-pound Smith has "NFL written all over him" and they very quietly had him at or near the top of their board at linebacker. Another SEC program has coveted Smith since early in the process. Smith, who is much better than the No. 68 outside linebacker prospect in the cycle (247Sports Composite) has it all- size, speed, athleticism and he will straight up drop the hammer. He's very similar to 2014 signee Jakob Johnson, who already is enrolled at UT.

I like the kid too but I'm über pumped about Kamara IF he has changed his ways. We haven't had depth in the backfield like this in a very long time.
