Anyone have inside info on why Sunseri turned pro?

Worried about his knee and scared he wouldn't be able to make money if he got hurt next year

Was a tough decision for him but a necessary one

He passed the college game up. He was too big for it and Saban made him go pro. I hope they can create another super league above the NFL soon because he will out grow it in 2-3 years. You just cant contain the Vinnie badger.

On what he considered when making the decision: "For me, it's never been about money. It's the next stage of my life. I feel like I'm ready to take that next step. I came out of high school early and a lot of people questioned that, questioned going to Alabama. Wondered if I'd be able to produce there and I was able to do that and show everybody that I was able to play with elite players there. I'm just ready to take that next step and play professional football."

On why he didn't come back to potentially boost his draft stock: "Me and my dad talked about that. We talked about how I had an All-American year this year before I got hurt. I was a midseason All-American, I had great film. All I could do is come back to another year and reimplement that, have another All-American year. I just thought that I did enough this year to prove to professional teams and prove to coaches that I was ready to take that next step."

On the reaction from Nick Saban and Kirby Smart: "They're very supportive in everything. They're really respectful people. I respect them so much. I'm the player I am because of coach Smart and coach Saban's teachings. I've just really grown from being at Alabama."
