He is listed as 6'3" 230lbs, I expect he will redshirt a year to pack on in the weight room. Solid get for the future.

How is he a project? He's the number 1 DE in Mississippi and has a good number of legit offers.

Um probably because he's not going to play for at least a year.

Project is a little far, but he's not a first year Starter.

ETA: You can't use the big fish picture for every fricking commit we get.

Basically because he will redshirt and needs to add a few pounds. Hit the weight room and come out ready for the next season. I'm not saying he's a bad player, but he could be really good if y'all are patient.

Guys like Keith Joseph is what we build our program on. Solid Players from Mississippi who work their butts off in the weight room and contribute a lot.

Ex. Jameson Love, Taveze Calhoun, Bernarderick McKinney, AJ Jefferson, Matt Wells, Kaleb Eulls etc....

Randy read he was a project somewhere and is regurgitating it here. Basically like 90% of all recruiting posts.

Unless you think Gabe is a DT, which I kind of think he may be but a lot dont, Gabe is the best DE. Being from Yazoo, y'all probably have a great shot for him, and probably lead, but you will actually have to compete to get him.

How many are you guys taking this year? You've already got a bunch of commits and I know there are a lot of players still left you guys feel good about.

Guy is pretty good with a good motor but will have to hit the weight room ASAP if he has any plans on contributing as a Freshman. 230 is very generous. In person he looks like a WR. Mullen likes tall LBs so it really wouldn't surprise me if he plays LB for you though.

I think we are for the most part expecting Gabe to be a DT. Seems like every player we have gotten from yazoo have gained a ridiculous amount of weight in their first couple of semesters at MSU...
