Should Janzen Jackson be associated with Tennessee?

He was kicked off the team after numerous violations so he's no longer a Vol.

He graduated from McNeese State, not UT. I don't see Florida fans claiming Cam Newton. and yet news articles are showing UT helmets and UT uniforms.

He's being associated with UT because that was a major school he was associated with. A headline that read, "former Mcneese state standout..." doesn't catch much attention.

because that's how he's recognized. he is being called a "former TN Vol player" because he is. If Lane Kiffin hadn't peacocked so much about flipping him the day after signing day, then maybe TN wouldn't have so much egg on its face regarding how his career played out. Janoris Jenkins is thought of as a Florida player, not a North Alabama player.

Part of being in the Big 6. If a player visited or showed interest in Bama that is how an arrest story starts. "former Bama recruiting target gets arrested". It is what it is.
