2013 LSU = 2014 Texas Tech

Both teams swept through the Super Regionals they hosted... Winning game 1 in shutout fashion... Both teams went to Omaha with dreams of hoisting the trophy but instead went 2 and Q (hold the slaw please)... Then you think about the fact that LSU had Nola on the mound but lost to UCLA 2-1 and neither Bruin runs were earned in that game... The Ole Miss Rebels just beat Tech 2-1 without plating an earned run either... UCLA bears... Ole Miss bears... The similarities are there for sure... Congrats to all teams on their Omaha runs.

Lots of you Bears have obviously been mad about LSU's superior athletic department for a very, very long time. That's not healthy and it's time to let it go my friends, congrats on your win today and best of luck for the rest of the CWS

I've offically realized after reading this OP that the whole OM obsession with LSU has seriously gotten sad. Please find something better to do with your time, like maybe celebrating your first win in Omaha since I was minus 6 years old
