Ranking college football stadiums is not only subjective but also extremely intricate. General atmosphere, fan support, home-field advantage, amenities, tailgating, the surrounding campus and the college town should all be considered when trying to rank college football stadiums.

Dominated that poll

8/12 voted us #1

1. Tiger Stadium, LSU
Opened: 1924 Capacity: 100,000

Be it the vast and unique tailgating menu or Richter Scale-registering fans, few places in the nation can send chills down your spine like Tiger Stadium. As one of the loudest and most rabid atmospheres in the nation, LSU boasts one of the most daunting home-field advantages in college football — especially at night. A $70 million renovation is underway to push Tiger Stadium’s capacity to 100,000, only furthering a hallowed reputation as one of the nation’s top venues. There is a reason Tiger Stadium got eight first-place votes in our poll.

Well if that's factored in, considering how crappy College Station is, our stadium alone must be #1 by miles.

Side note, what's with our own guy ranking us 3rd?

You beat us at tailgating. But yeah, our stadium is a lot nicer.

My rankings would be a little bit different:

1. Tiger Stadium

2. Samford
3 Jordan-Hare
4. Bryant-Denny
5. Florida
6. Kyle
7. Vaught-Hemingway
8. Neyland
9. Williams-Brice
10.Commonwealth
11.Fawcett
12.Davis-Wade
13.Razorback
14.Vanderbilt

But really, there's not much difference between #s 2-9.

I say that Neyland and her surroundings are a close second to Tiger Stadium.

Sounds like another ranking that doesn't understand the difference between stadium and gameday experience

What about ours makes it next to last? LSU has only played there once recently so i can understand that. Figured we'd be middle of the pack though

How weird.

UGA's stadium is acknowledged as not loud, but is considered beautiful? It's pretty atheistically ugly, really. UGA should be ranked high for gameday experience and it's a decent enough and pretty large stadium, but I just don't get this.
