Is it okay for guys to use emoticons when texting with girls? Does it add a flirty feel to it if thats what your going for?

I don't think there is any problem with it unless you over kill. I don't have them so I've never used them but I don't see anything wrong with throwing an occasional smiley face at a ho.

I've used them while flirting, only the ones formed like this ;) not the ones like

She started using them and I didn't want to make her feel like I wasn't interested. It just felt weird using them in a text.
