Basketball: Mizzou vs Oklahoma State in KC on December 30th

KOMU broke the news that Mizzou and Okie Lite will be facing off in hoops at the Sprint Center on December 30th....looks like Okie State is over being butthurt.

Can't wait to buy tickets. I just hope the KC MU fans show up. Hawaii had a decent turnout last year but Ok State should fill the place up.

I'm going to try to make it. Last year's date was not a good one being so near thanksgiving. I think we'll have a nice crowd.

Moves the needle a bit for me. Don't we already play OU? If so, that's OU, osu and NCState that I can think of off the top of my head. Plus the Maui tournament. Like the non-con schedule a lot more than last years. Just hope the team can get up to speed pretty damn fast. Only concern I have for this game or attendance is if we end up playing in a bowl game on the 30th.

I thought of that too. But I actually enjoy college basketball more than football and wouldn't pass up a live game for a televised one. Even being a bowl game vs a non con.

I will be there. Excited to see us play someone that is halfway interesting. Should be a good poke turnout as well.

NCState has been moved to next year....so far the schedule looks pretty brutal. They also are going to host Xavier this year and then you've got the Illinois game. With Maui in there their schedule will be one of the best in the country before they start conference play.

I suppose the good thing is we won't have to wait until conference play to get a gauge on where the team is. Good thing IMO.
