You didn't start loving him after he won you a national championship?

I thought since he used Saban's players it didn't count?

Les is good for LSU and the SEC imo. Wish he could find a way to win another NC. He is under appreciated by some LSU fans.

Les is very likable and is a good coach. I of course wouldn't trade Saban for him but would not be upset if he were our coach. The main difference between the two mostly comes down to one game. It is what it is, but that's probably not fair relative to coaches with hundreds of games under their belt.

I started "loving" him a few minutes later:

LINK

What he said after that huge win was just pure class and love for the sport. It's not in this video, but a little later he was asked about a rematch and he said he would be "honored" to play Alabama again.

You can laugh at him, discredit him, whatever...but anyone who loves college football and appreciates class should appreciate Les Miles.

This is why I love Les too. You can tell he loves the game and doesn't get caught up in the petty stuff.

Unlike his opponent that day (and 9-6), who basically gave LSU no credit at all and then immediately began a media tour to whine about getting their mulligan. I lost a tremendous amount of respect for Saban after those two games.

He didn't used to be like that so I can only assume that the classless gump mentality has rubbed off on him

He said he'd be honored to play that team again in 2011, this is the 2010 game.

Thanks for the correction. I did a quick search, thought something was wrong with it being AT LSU, and still it didn't register.
