The Will Ferrel movie "Old School" came out 11 years ago.

Kurt Cobain died 23 years after Jim Morrison. Cobain died 20 years ago. He would be 47 years old today.

The "new" Aerosmith came out 22 years ago. That song "Crazy" is 18 years old. Alicia Silverstone is now 38 years old.

Yesterday (6/12) was the 20th anniversary of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman's murder .... apparently by a caddy who worked part time as a hit man for drug dealers.

Remember watching parts of the OJ Trial as a 6-7 year old in my first home, a trailer. No, not a double wide.

I remember being in high school when we got to watch the jury verdict being delivered in class.

During the period break between classes, all the black kids in school ran outside and started celebrating and dancing, and it was really confusing to me at the time.

Now I understand.

Saw the verdict come in my freshman year of college.

Challenger explosion was 28 years ago - saw that one go down in 4th grade. I still have nightmares.

Hmmmm.....The Wonder Years ran from 1988 - 93 and covered the years 1968 - 73. If it was on television today, it would cover 1994 - 99. Got. D*mn.

PS: I remember eating lunch, as a kid, at Piccadilly in Cumberland Mall next to Dusty Rhodes, James J. Dillon, and Tully Blanchard.

I kept waiting for the melee to break out but it never did.....you aren't even sort of old if you have no clue what I'm talking about.

As an aside....15 years later Tony Schiavone's kid was serving me drinks in Athens.

School was cancelled that day because some freak cold front hit Georgia and all the pipes broke at the school. Watched the explosion live at home on a box shaped color tv. Also, I fell through some ice that day on a pond, but it was only three feet deep thankfully......

JR's Baitshack - would have been the 2004 - '06 time period. I graduated in December of '04 and I'm not sure if he worked there before then.

I was in 12th grade Civics class when the principal announced JFK was shot.
I saw every home game of Vince Dooleys first SEC Championship season in 1966.
I remember the news when Buddy Holly as killed in a plane crash. Same for Patsy Cline.
