After an A&M football loss.

Mine are:

1] 1978, Astrodome, Houston 33, Ags 0.
2] 2000, Snowbowl vs MissSt
3] 2011, sip game.

One of the reasons I ask is to try to explore why certain games make you go bat shite crazy mad, and why certain games leave you stupified. I was stupified after Ark St (and Iowa St).

Agreed that it was demoralizing, but only the sip game made me slam on the walls (and I was in a hotel in San Fran).

2011 Texas for sure. Such a close game, "eternal" scoreboard on the line, and then the refs just hand them the game.

Honorable mention goes to Baylor 2004. The year before, the student section was chanting "80, 80, 80" as the game was coming to a close because we were sitting on 73 driving down the field, but decided to be merciful. Then we decide to lay an egg in 2004 in Waco, while ranked, giving Baylor their I believe 2nd Big 12 win all-time.

Now that I think about it, how about the 2002 teech game?
It's not good to sit in a bar by yourself and reminisce about Ag football games that have scarred your soul...

1) 2006 Oklahoma- Lost 17-16. Bad coaching gave this game away.

2) 2006 Texas Tech-Lost 31-27. The interception that wasn't... not to mention Jordan Peterson...

3) 2011 T-Day game. The outcome of this game seems much better in hindsight.

Good list. I'd add 1975 at Arkansas. Undefeated, last game of the season, ranked #2. Boom.

Agreed, it was our last legit chance of winning a Nat'l Title. But we were so high after the sip win that we didn't have the energy to be bat shite mad. Again, not asking about worst losses, but about losses that made you lose your mind.

I was doubly mad about the Houston game because I was sitting the weekend. Should have just had that guy killed.

For losing your mind it has to be '11 sips.

And in order to qualify for "losing your mind", that means breaking a bone in your hand, or trying to.

Not tryin to ruin it. Just coming to terms with how good it is to have persevered through hell.

After that last tu game I was just sick to my stomach. Refs handed it to them.
