When he screamed under water it confirmed the fact that I will never visit Australia.

Was it just me or did that video look completely fake or staged?

If that would have been me, the shark would have left immediately because the water would have turned brown from all the shite leaving my body at once.

Wife and I were on our honeymoon in Destin back in 2001. I was out in the water coming back from my requisite "see how far I can walk out into the ocean" trip. I was in a little over waist-deep water when I got the weirdest feeling all over my body and the hair on my neck stood up. I looked to my right and there was a 5' long shadow under the water headed right for me (it had been raining so there was no visibility under the water. It got about an arm's length from me then turned and headed out to deeper water. I hustled to the shore, and there was an old man walking really fast toward me. He said he was coming to tell me to get out of the water because he saw the shark's fin break the surface. Didn't put a toe in the water the rest of the trip.

Of course, it wasn't a great white, but still. Shark. And there had been several shark attacks that season in the Gulf.

I got came nose to nose with a Barracuda while swimming near the shore in the Cayman Islands. Happened so fast I didn't really have time to get scared. Still freaky after the fact...

We don't see them too often around these parts but they are definatly out there. Got a few videos recently of a shark on Navarre beach and someone fished up a huge one recently. Makes you feel kinda funny about playing in the water.

I think most people would be shocked at how many sharks are out close to the second breaker.
