A. Bama QB Jacob Coker/OC Lane Kiffin - their legacies will forever be tied together

B. LSU RB Leonard Fournette - " Fournette will have 1400 total yards and at least 14 TDs." LINK

C. Mizzou QB Maty Mauk - Maty Mauk v. Jordan Jefferson

D. UGA DC Jeremy Pruitt - we're counting on him

So, who is your biggest bust in 2014? Not all of the aforementioned will succeed.

Bama in general. The fact that they are the favorites to win the SEC in most people's minds is downright confusing to me.

This guy has no talent to work with this year. Unfair for him to be on this list IMO.

Thats a dumb prediction. We have several good backs and like always will be a RB by committee.

Saban won't let them frick up too badly. A couple of turnovers on risky plays and the offense gets reined in.

C. Mizzou QB Maty Mauk

I'm going with this. Lost DGB and this team isn't as good as last years from top to bottom.

Jesus, that LSU poster is incredibly delusional.

ETA: I know I am not here as much as I used to be, but I have seen more of other fan bases talking about how good we say Coker will be than our own fans saying how good Coker will be. I've seen our fans say he has a very high ceiling, but I certainly haven't seen anything like what that LSU poster put up about Fournette.

Well Kiffin won't succeed. He may not fail spectacularly, considering he'll have an empire that is actually good at what they do backing him up.

After that, I don't expect Coker to live up to the ridiculous hype heaped on a QB who just isn't that good, but he may be capable and that is all Bama usually needs.

The Fournette hype is out of control, and I don't anticipate he'll be the clearly #1 SEC back at any time in his SEC tenure. Doesn't mean he won't be good, but he'll be competing with other very high end backs throughout his career.

Mauk will be good. The hype for Mauk is reasonable and not too extreme.

Pruitt will be fine, but will not revolutionize UGA football. He's still got quite a lot to prove. People pretending the recent dismissals are the start of Pruitt's reign of glory make me laugh.

Pruit could be a big bust this year, but unless he really drops the ball, it doesnt really matter because he is a coach and you need more than one year

Coker just needs to not be Keil Frazier in order to not be a bust

I dont think bama ends up in the bottom of the SEC offense wise, so no to kiffin

Fournette has the possibility based upon past precedent with RB's recruits in general

No idea on Mauk does he play for an SEC team?

The dismissals are going to be felt. Pruitt didn't recruit those guys and they obviously felt like they were entitled to things/jobs that they held last season. Something had to give.

This is tough. Mauk lost his top 3 WR's, but returns good RB's and a good OL, which means the team may not need to rely on him too much.

Pruitt has inherited a mess at the back of the UGA defense, but has a nasty front 7 to work with.

Coker has never started a game, and never thrown a pass in a Bama uniform, but he has a ton of talent to work with.

Fournette, I think is probably the answer, simply because LSU usually runs a lot of different RB's, and the expectations are so high around the country.

That's kind of a romantic view of it, but I agree that there will be some impact from the dismissals. Not sure it'll be good.

Short-term it will hurt our depth and obviously hurts the talent level in the back end somewhat.

Long-term I'm glad Matthews and Wiggins aren't on the team anymore. By most accounts they were program poison. I wish JHC could have stayed, but University policy gave Richt no choice in the matter.

Will be good, but no way he can live up to the pedestal LSU fans are putting him on.

Mississippi State.

Our whole team.

I'm downplaying every ounce of talent we have so on the good chance we underperform I'll care less.

But really... Dak Prescott. Best QB we've had in years, but he is by no means a Heisman contender. I think I saw a site the other day that listed him as 30/1 odds
