UGA thumps SC Sept. 13th.

UF thumps UGA Nov. 1st.

SC thumps UF Nov. 15th.

All end the season at 11-1

How would the tie-breaker rule apply?

same thing happened in 03.

I think next tiebreaker (since all the head to heads cancel out) is record against the west or something. It goes down the list and it used to end up with BCS rankings, but now it's changed to something different. There was an article last week about it.

They have to get past Vandy first.

Well, two of those would have to play west teams that are going to kick the shite out of them, so this isn't really realistic.

Yes they do, but this is a hypothetical scenario and it has historical relevance as WG-D just pointed out.

UGA - AU, Arky

USCe - AU, aTm

UF - Bama, LSU

I'm not saying three East teams go 11-1, I'm just confused by your statement.

Look I gave you hens a fictional win over UF in late November and that was a huge stretch on my imagination....

Not going to happen. No way Georgia or Carolina gets by Auburn. LSU will beat Florida.

And, dammit, y'all still forgetting Tennessee.

Any sec tie breaker goes to the highest ranked.

Your premise is invalid.

Auburn will beat UGA and USC, so I guess UF will win the East.

Doesn't matter, USCe wouldn't be in Atlanta

Here ya go:

quote:

2. Three-Team Tie (or more).
If three teams (or more) are tied for a division title, the following procedure will be used in the following order: (Note: If one of the procedures results in one team being eliminated and two remaining, the two-team tiebreaker procedure as stated in No. 1 above will be used):

A. Combined head-to-head record among the tied teams;
B. Record of the tied teams within the division;
C. Head-to-head competition against the team within the division with the best overall Conference record (divisional and non-divisional) and proceeding through the division (multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last and a tie for first place will be broken before a tie for fourth place);
D. Overall Conference record against non-divisional teams;
E. Combined record against all common non-divisional teams;
F. Record against the common non-divisional team with the best overall Conference record (divisional and non-divisional) and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division; and
G.Combined SEC record of the team’s cross-divisional opponents

The committee is going to release weekly rankings, so I'm sure that will be used as the tie-breaker.
